Our Mission

The Mission of this committee is to push back against unchecked enforcement of 287(g) agreements between Palm Beach County authorities and the federal government. We are a coalition of Palm Beach County Indivisible Groups working together to support our immigrant neighbors who deserve full and equal rights, due process, and respect for their humanity. Our friends at SouthPBC Indivisible did the heavy lifting to get this committee started.

Our Strategy

Our Strategy is to engage PB County Authorities, officials and communities with meetings, letters, calls, emails, protests and story telling testimonials. It will be a 3 step process.

STEP 1: Schedule a meeting with Sheriff Ric Bradshaw to voice concerns and discuss the level and depth of PBSO implementation of 287(g) duties.

STEP 2: Engage & Contact all County Commissioners for information on their involvement with and ability to affect implementation of 287(g) agreements in PB County.

STEP 3: Engage & Contact all relevant municipalities for information on their involvement with and ability to affect implementation of 287(g) agreements in PB County.

Related Actions

Related actions will include protests at various locations, including college campuses that will utilize traditional demonstration picketing with assistance from a new countywide Resistance Art In Action Group. Also planned are recorded video testimonials of people directly affected by ICE activity. These videos will be utilized on social media and shared to news agencies as news stories and PSA’s
