If you are a first-time VPB user, you need to create an Action ID account.
Create yours Here: https://myaccount.ngpvan.com/CreateAccount
When you click on the link, it tells you what to do. You need to give your email address and password. Be sure to save the password.
If you have used the VPB link before, you must use your Action ID, email, and password.
Once you enter your ID, the link will open
The script you will use is HERE. (Please Print a Copy)
The first voter will show up on the screen, and you will note the name and phone number of the voter.
Call using your own telephone; when the phone rings, you probably need to be patient and wait for it to ring several times. If no one picks up the phone and voicemail kicks in, ignore it, click “I couldn’t reach..” & mark it as ‘not home,’ then save and go to the next voter.
We are not going to leave a message for voters; we will move on to the next voter until a voter comes up to the phone.
Then, your talk begins…
Please make sure you note their answers, and have a writing pad available for any notes you need to write.
Our goal with each VPB caller is to make calls until we each have had phone conversations with 25 voters. Each conversation should be recorded via a survey, questions, and notes section. It is a good idea to take notes and write down important information you gather, then answer the survey questions and type additional info into the notes section after the call is over.
We hope to complete calling the warm voters by the middle of July.
You cannot text with this phone bank; the phone conversations are a critical element of collecting the data.
All our calls will be recorded and show how many voters you were able to contact.
The voters in our link are inconsistent voters; we call these voters warm voters. Moving forward into the 2026 election year, we want to activate warm voters to vote consistently.
When we finish calling Warm Voters, we will have a special dinner, at which we will receive the survey results and celebrate and recognize your accomplishment.
The Final celebration gathering will be the completion of outreach to new voters!!
We are indebted to your commitment to defending democracy, and your leadership will make a significant difference in the upcoming election.
Thank you so much for your partnership in the PBIN Countywide Voter Outreach
Program.
